Massive Erie Snow Dump Facilitated by Climate Change "IndyWatch Feed National"

Record-breaking snowfall in Pennsylvania earlier this week turns out to be another symptom of the earth heating up at record-breaking speeds, according to government scientists, while President Donald Trump thinks global warming could help eradicate the current cold snap.

The city of Erie was pummeled with 34 inches of snow on Christmas Day an all-time daily snowfall record, beating the previous mark of 20 inches that had stood for over 60 years. Another 24.5 inches had fallen by Tuesday night, bringing the total since December 23 to more than 63 inches.

Why did so much snow fall? And does Trump have a point does all this snow mean our climate crisis is over? The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is the arm of the government that helps Americans make decisions on how to manage climate-related risks and opportunities they face, they say on their website. WhoWhatWhy reached out to them for an answer.

If the lake had been frozen as it usually is at this time of year this weather event wouldnt have occurred.

The Erie snow was driven by a lake-effect event, said Jake Crouch, scientist at NOAAs National Centers for Environmental Information. Its been fairly warm there and the lake was not yet frozen.

Normally, when air this cold a...

Australian Freeze: Big Aussie Banks Denying Bitcoiners

Bitcoiners in Australia claim banks are on purpose freezing their bank accounts, disallowing exchange transfers, and at least one exchange is over-reacting to the freeze. Theyre so unnerved theyve done what any good crypto enthusiast does: air it all on social media and in comment threads.

Australias Big Four Banks Freeze Crypto Accounts

Australian bitcoiners have taken, in frustration, to social media and comment threads to broadcast treatment by banks and, to a lesser degree, exchanges. In particular, Commonwealth Bank, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ), National Australia Bank (NAB), Westpac Banking Corporation, known as the big four, have halted exchange transfers and frozen accounts, according to enthusiasts.

Popular regional crypto exchange, Coinspot, announced a temporary hold on fiat deposits from the country in response to friction with banks. We assure you we are just as unhappy with the situation as you, but unfortunately Australian banks have been so far unwilling to work with the digital currency industry which leads to frequent account closures and strict limits on accounts whilst they remain operational, in effect debanking our industry, the exchange alerted.

Australia warship makes huge Arabian Sea hashish seizure "IndyWatch Feed National"

AUSTRALIAN DEPARTMENT OF DEFENCE/AFP | Australian officials described the seizure as a big setback for drug traffickers

SYDNEY (AFP)  An Australian warship has seized almost eight tonnes of hashish in the Arabian Sea, with the defence department Saturday estimating its street value at Aus$415 million (US$325 million).HMAS Warramunga has also confiscated 69 kilogrammes of heroin during maritime security manoeuvres in the area over the past three days.

The crew prepared extensively for a task like this and we were able to employ our helicopter and boarding crews to locate and board three suspect vessels, the ships commanding officer Dugald Clelland said.

HMAS Warramunga

A thorough search by the boarding parties uncovered a large quantity of hashish and heroin intended for distribution around the world.

The drugs will be disposed of at sea.

Major General John Frewen, head of Australian Forces in the Middle East, described the seizure as a big setback for drug traffickers.

This operation will impact on the flow of narcotics around the world and the use of drug money to fund extremist organisations, he said.

The officials did not say which countrys shoreline the seized drugs were closest to.

The HMAS Warramunga is part of the Combined Maritime Forces (CMF) naval partnership in which 30 nations patrol 2.5 million square miles of international waters.

The warship enforces maritime security with a focus on terrorist activity in the Middle East and Indian Ocean regions as part of the Combined Task Force (CTF) 150, which operates under the CMF.

Tanya Levin Hillsong public enemy no 1 How Hillsong pursued Tanya for two years using NSW Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione a close friend of Brian Houstons police force "IndyWatch Feed National"

Christian atheist Tanya Levin, Pastor Brian Houstons nemesis

Tanya Levin is Hillsong public enemy no 1.

Tanya wrote a book criticising Hillsong and has gotten up their nose for a long-time now.

Tanya went to the big annual Hillsong Conference in Homebush, Sydney a couple of years ago and did some interviews of people attending, outside the venue.

Hillsong had paid for NSW Police to be there and to sort out any issues or dissenters. I doubt they had much to do except target Tanya and try to help Hillsong to get rid of her once and for all.

Below is an article from 7 May this year about how NSW Police, on behalf of Hillsong, pursued Tanya for two years. That is, Hillsong used NSW Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione a close friend of Brian Houstons police force to try to sort out Tanya.

Its a stretch to say, like the article below implies, that Andrew Scipione was directly involved with the Tanya Levin matter, which is highly unlikely. The reality is that once you off-side NSW Police and get charged, its hard to get rid of the charges unless you have an good able barrister.

The Economists Who Stole Christmas Project Syndu "IndyWatch Feed National"

How might opposing schools of economic thought  from neoclassical and Keynesian to Libertarian and Marxist, view Christmas presents? Levity aside, the answer reveals the pompousness and vacuity of each and every economic theory.

ATHENS To welcome the New Year with a cheeky take on the clash of economic ideologies, how might opposing camps representatives view Christmas presents? Levity aside, the answer reveals the pompousness and vacuity of each and every economic theory:

Neoclassicists: Given their view of individuals as utility-maximizing algorithms, and their obsession with a paradigm of purely utility-driven transactions, neoclassical economists can see no point in such a fundamentally inefficient form of exchange as Christmas gift-giving. When Jill receives a present from Jack that cost him $X, but which gives her less utility than she would gain from commodity Y, which retails for $Y (that is less than or equal to $X), Jill is forced either to accept this utility loss or to undertake the costly and usually imperfect business of exchanging Jacks gift for Y. Either way, there is a deadweight loss involved.

Restored Republic via a GCR Update as of Dec. 30 2017

Compiled 10:49 pm EDT 29 Dec. 2017 by Judy Byington, MSW, LCSW, ret, CEO, Child Abuse Recovery; Author, "Twenty Two Faces,"

Source: Dinar Chronicles

Judy Note: It is my opinion that the CIA's black operations including their funding of ISIS and mind control experiments that have raped, tortured and murdered children since the beginnings of the agency at the end of World War II, funneled US Taxpayer dollars through the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) in Basel, Switzerland.

The BIS was also known to run 60 Central Banks that were responsible for 95% of the world's GDP, making it the sole progenitor of the world's fiat money supply.

One Central Bank was the US Federal Reserve Bank which controlled the US taxpayer monies. Funds allocated by the Obama administration for the Syrian Rebels (i.e., ISIS) were directly wired to the Federal Reserve from the BIS.

Blackmailing those in Congress to vote for such henious acts was accomplished through an international drug-gun running and child kidnapping exploitation ring also funded by our US taxpayer dollars, along with monies from Saudia Arabian princes (23 of whom were arrested last Nov.).

Obama appeared to promote such corruption via the U.S. Congress so that in the event of an ISIS-spawned biological pandemic affecting hundreds of millions of people, the US would take blame for what the CIA in Switzerland was ultimately responsible.

Since the beginning of the US monetary system in the early 1800s these hard earned US taxpayer dollars-turned-blood-money has been paid through the Vatican and British Crown...

The Weekend Quiz December 30-31, 2017 answers and discussion "IndyWatch Feed Nsw"

Here are the answers with discussion for this Weekends Quiz. The information provided should help you work out why you missed a question or three! If you havent already done the Quiz from yesterday then have a go at it before you read the answers. I hope this helps you develop an understanding of modern monetary theory (MMT) and its application to macroeconomic thinking. Comments as usual welcome, especially if I have made an error.

Question 1:

When the government matches its deficit with debt-issuance it changes the portfolio of wealth held in the non-government sector. The impact on purchasing power is equivalent to a leakage from the expenditure system (akin to taxation, saving or imports) which reduces the expansionary impact of the government deficit spending.

The answer is False.

It is true that taxation, imports or saving are all leakages from the expenditure system which reduce the expenditure multiplier effect of exogenous spending such as government expenditure. Please read my blog Spending multipliers for more discussion on this point.

However, the same does not apply to debt-issuance.

The mainstream macroeconomic textbooks all have a chapter on fiscal policy (and it is often written in the context of the so-called IS-LM model but not always).

The chapters always introduces the so-called Government Budget Constraint that alleges that governments have to finance all spending either through taxation; debt-issuance; or money creation. The writer fails to understand that government spending is performed in the same way irrespective of the accompanying monetary operations.

They claim that money creation (borrowing from central bank) is inflationary while the latter (private bond sales) is less so. These conclusions are based on their erroneous claim that money creation adds more to aggregate demand than bond sales, because the latter forces up interest rates which crowd out some private spending.

All these claims are without foundation in a fiat monetary system and an understanding of the banking operations that occur when governments spend and issue debt helps to show why.

So what would happen if a sovereign, currency-issuing government (with a flexible exchange rate) ran a fiscal deficit without issuing debt?

Like all government spending, the Treasury would credit the reserve accounts held by the commercial bank at the central bank. The commercial bank in question would be where the target of the spending had an account. So the commercial banks assets rise and its l...

Have You Ever Wondered Why Your Blood Is Red? "IndyWatch Feed National"

By Dr. Mercola

The range of color in nature is amazing. Hues of all colors may be found in animals as a form of camouflage, protection, sexual behavior and even communication. Some animals are even translucent in order to improve their ability to escape predators.1

In the human body, color is an important way to differentiate tissues, organs, bones, tendon and muscle. Pathologists have a unique need to be aware of color differences as this sometimes translates into pathological processes that require identification for appropriate treatment. These color differences are evident in gross examination. In microscopic evaluation, cells often appear colorless.

In an effort to help pathologists differentiate the colors of healthy and abnormal tissue and to answer the question why human organs have different colors, researchers from MD Anderson Cancer Center wrote a review article.2 Their objective was to start answering these questions and establish a groundwork of knowledge from which further study can grow.

Color variations may have been the foundation of the humorism theory of disease, prevalent in ancient times.3 This theory was systematized in ancient Greece and central to the teachings of Hippocrates. It continued to influence medical practice well into the 1800s. Although initially integrated into medical practice, the four humours also found a place in psychological evaluation4 and in Shakespearean analysis of personality.5

How You See Color

This short video explains the small portion of light on the color spectrum that is available to the human eye and how we perceive specific colors. Your brain interprets color based on the wavelength of light transmitted from your retina to your brain. As light passes through your eye, it hits color cells called cones.

Your eye has three color cones that enable you to see a variety of color based on how the wavelengths are mixed. Your cones can see green, blue and r...

Changes for the better in relations between the PRC and the ROK? "IndyWatch Feed National"

The end of 2017 may be distinguished by identifiable changes in the policy of Beijing relation to the states of the Korean peninsula: if in the North Korean direction after the sixth nuclear test of 2017 there is a tightening of the screws, then in relation to the ROK there are to be some indulgences. The matter even came on the visit of Mun Zhe Ying to China.

First, let us look back the level of relations between the PRC and ROK before the thaw and how much it affected Seouls wallet.

Until a certain moment, the PRC used severe economic measures to put pressure on the ROK connected with the problem of THAAD. The discourse went about the ban on cultural content (South Korean pop stars or TV series produced by the ROK did not appear on television), complicating the working conditions of South Korean companies and limiting the flow of tourists.

Periodically, the parties were disrupted by insults: for example, in September 2017, the Global Times made very insulting remarks against the Koreans, saying that they had, Eaten too much Kimchi, by deciding on the deployment the US missile defense. Koreans took offense, and the newspaper Choson Ilbo wrote an angry answer.

The level of official contacts was not high. As you can recall, after the sixth nuclear test of the DPRK, Mun Zhe Ying actively called almost all the leaders of major powers, from Putin to Abe or Merkel, lobbying the American draft resolution. However, before Xi Jinping, he somehow did not get through, because it is alleged that the PRC president ordered not to bring them together.

However, mostly it was about informal sanctions, because no one officially introduced them, but in fact there was a creation of the maximum number of obstacles. So, the number of passengers on flights between the airports of the ROK and China, performed by South Korean carriers, amounted to 1,120,000 people in July 2017, which is 45.2% less than a year ago. The number of Chinese tourists in the ROK also decreased by 65.7% after air carriers began to cancel some of the flights to South Korean airports because of a reduction in the number of passengers, and the Chinese authorities since March 15, 2017, banned their travel agencies to sell group trips to the ROK . In addition, even individuals were forbidden to sell tours to the ROK at low prices and inc...

China Eliminates Taxation For Foreign Companies Investing in China "IndyWatch Feed National"

China has responded to global competition that is exploding in the wake of the Trump Tax Reform. While domestic news in the USA continues to bash the tax reform on class warfare, the rest of the world is trying to come to terms with what Trump has set in motion. Chinas response is to allow foreign companies complete tax-free busi9ness on any profits they reinvest in China upping the stakes. Their position was stated by the Ministry of Finance and it is designed to foster the growth of foreign investment, improve the quality of foreign investment, and encourage foreign investors to continuously expand their investment in China. The tax exemption applies retroactively from January 1st, 2017 beating Trump at his own game once more. Foreign companies who have paid taxes in China for 2017 will be refunded.

Domestically, companies in China are already complaining about rising costs that are caused by raising taxes. They have warned that this could lead to production relocations. The standard corporate tax rate is 25% in China. In order to benefit from the newly announced tax rebates, foreign companies have to meet several requirements. These include direct investment in industries promoted by the government in Beijing. Also, the money must flow directly to the companies.

The tax game is now afoot. The big loser will be Europe because they are far more entangled with the socialist agenda than anyone else with New Zealand and Australia fighting for second place in the uncompetitive tax burden race to the top.

The ceremony of innocence is drowned;

W. B. Yeats, The Second Coming

Apocalyptic literature and prophecies are found throughout history. But as the world has not ended, our modern day smug intelligentsia imbued with a belief in progress and the Darwinian concept of history that sees a march of humanity scoffs at such notions. Dr. A. R. Wallace, a leading Darwinian scientist of the Victorian era, in a book optimistically entitled The Wonderful Century (1898), wrote of this as the best of all times:

Not only is our century superior to any that have gone before it but it may be best compared with the whole preceding historical period. It must therefore be held to constitute the beginning of a new era of human progress1

The philosopher-historian Oswald Spengler predicted the decline of the West in the aftermath of World War I. The word most commonly used to describe him, even by his admirers, was that of a pessimist. Does one, however, become a pessimist to acknowledge the mortality of organisms, and acknowledge they have life cycles that end in death? Such is life; such is history. Spengler explained:

I see in place of that empty figment of ONE linear history the drama of a number of mighty cultures, each having its own life; its own death Each culture has its own new possibilities of self-expression which arise, ripen, decay and never return. I see world history as a picture of endless formations and transformations, of the marvellous waxing and waning of organic forms The professional historian on the other hand, sees it as a sort of tapeworm industriously adding to itself one epoch after another.2

Entitling the first chapter of his treatise on alchemy The Plurality & Duality of Civilisations, Julius Evola Spenglers Italian translator states:

The Dawning Aeon of the Child: Personal Thoughts & Reflections "IndyWatch Feed National"

In 1904, while visiting Cairo with his wife Rose, the English occultist Aleister Crowley received a text known as The Book of the Law via direct voice transmission. He described its author as a messenger from the forces ruling this earth at present. Three one-hour sessions over a three-day period resulted in 220 verses announcing a New Aeon with a New Law for mankind a changing of the guard of the spiritual hierarchy ruling the planet. The Book of the Law proclaims a new era in ethics, morality, culture, and science.

Crowley insisted The Book of the Law proved the first postulate of religion, the existence of Higher Consciousness independent of the human brain and body. He would spend the next 43 years of his life explaining and proclaiming its message and significance in all his writings.

An inspiring, mysterious, and poetic text, devotees of The Book of the Law interpret its message as the sole rule and guide of their lives. Many have found it fulfils that role admirably, never failing to provide insight and direction when called upon.

We must then ask ourselves: What does the inauguration of a New Aeon mean? I remember a cynical comedian from my childhood. He called himself the Old Philosopher and had recorded a funny rant on a 45rpm record, mocking the celebrations of the New Year. His pitch was something like, New what? New worries, new problems? Id rather have out with the New and in with the Old because I am familiar with the Old! I remember laughing with my parents as I first became aware of the irony of the dual-edged nature of progress. Looking at the New Aeon from my perspective today, I am acutely conscious of that irony in a manner that I was not when I took my first steps on this path a half century ago.

This new Aeon of the Child (Horus) follows that of the Father (Osiris) and the Mother (Isis). While Crowley spoke of these aeons as 2,000-year periods seemingly corresponding to the astrological divisions of the Precession of the Equinoxes I think they may best be understood as longer term symbolic constructs rather than calendrical dating systems. The aeons appear to be indicators of larger cultural and historical trends by which human progress and evolution may be understood and identified.

The Aeon of the Mother (Isis) is characterised as a time of unity with Nature, the ascendant Priestess, intuition over intellect, befo...

The Lord of the World: Whats Really Behind the Legend of the Mysterious Kingdom of Agarttha? "IndyWatch Feed National"

It is all too easy to believe that the current leaders of humanity are operating from the reptilian part of the brain, which is devoid of any capacity for love, compassion, or justice. But an alien race? What makes reptiles aliens? They have been on this planet for over 300 million years.

We then face the disturbing possibility that there is nothing less alien than this reptilian impulse. In fact, it is most likely the product of the earth and of earthly evolution. We may then turn around and ask whether its actually the higher, more selfless types of motivation that are implants from an alien world.

The visionary author Philip K. Dick believed something like this. For him the Immortal One or the plasmate, as he called it, is an impulse that comes from outside our world but can bond with the human entity to create a homoplasmate, in which the mortal human is annexed permanently to the immortal. The Divine Invasion, the title of one of Dicks novels, alludes to this possibility.

This consideration leads us to look at a powerful idea that comes out of the world of esotericism: that, just as there are visible hierarchies bent on perpetuating their own power, there are other, unseen hierarchies that are moving (or attempting to move) the human race toward higher and purer states.

One of the most intriguing versions of this teaching is the idea of the Lord of the World, the head of an unseen but benevolent hierarchy that governs humanity. Governs, that is, in a certain sense only, because any hierarchy that was completely in control of present-day humanity could not possibly be benevolent. So the idea of the Lord of the World encompasses another facet: this sacred hierarchy is, for reasons that are not terribly clear, blocked off and hidden from the majority of the human race. As of course would be his domain if it exists in earthly terms at all.

Objective Journalist Meets Professional Russiagater. Heres What Happens "IndyWatch Feed National"

By Caitlin Johnstone and cross-posted from Medium

Have you ever wondered why mainstream media outlets, despite being so fond of dramatic panel debates on other hot-button issues, never have critics of the Russiagate narrative on to debate those who advance it? Well, in a recent Real News interview we received an extremely clear answer to that question, and it was so epic it deserves its own article.

Real News host and producer Aaron Mat has recently emerged as one of the most articulate critics of the establishment Russia narrative and the Trump-Russia conspiracy theory, and has published in The Nation some of the clearest arguments against both that Ive yet seen. Luke Harding is a journalist for The Guardian where he has been writing prolifically in promotion of the Russiagate narrative, and is the author of New York Times bestseller Collusion: Secret Meetings, Dirty Money, and How Russia Helped Donald Trump Win.

In theory, it would be hard to find two journalists more qualified to debate each side of this important issue. In practice, it was a one-sided thrashing that The Intercepts Jeremy Scahill accurately described as brutal.

Slogging through the sludge-pit of YouTube "IndyWatch Feed National"

Ive been experimenting with making YouTube videos (Ill put up another one this weekend!), in part because its a fun challenge, but also because Im constantly horrified by how atheism is represented in that medium. I expect creationists to be nattering dinglebats, but when atheists come along and be raging assholes, its always disappointing. In the last few days, an unpleasant example has shown up in the comments to this video.

SwolllenGoat: why do you disable ratings like some creotard?

I ignored him for a bit that tard construction is a pretty good indicator that he wasnt worth engaging but Ill tell you why.

Ratings systems are evil. Old timers may recall I mentioned them as an option on blog comments some time back, and most of you were horrified at the idea. All it does is foster tribalism, and then the stupid little stars become a tool for factions to anonymously snipe at one another.

Ive seen it on YouTube. The ratings on YouTube videos are often useless theyre only used for virtue signaling by one group or another. When we did some FtB videos a while back, it was obvious, since wed have these hour-long videos, and within minutes of putting them up, the anti-SJW kiddie campers were clicking madly to downrate them. So I dont use them.

I didnt feel like explaining that to this guy, so I gave him a short answer.

PZ Myers: Because of people like you.

You know he wasnt going to be satisfied.

SwolllenGoat: what kind of person am i?

I ignored him.

I did look at his YouTube page, though, and the related channels for this guy include Atheism-Is-Unstoppable:

Devon Tracey, or Atheism-is-Unstoppable (channel name) is a moderately popular YouTube atheist. Most of his content consists of Anti-SJW/Regressive screeds common amongst YouTube atheists. Occasionally this manifests itself in extreme rhetoric, which can sometimes be argued to be mildly racist, and is occasionally too much even for TheAmazingAtheist. He is also notorious for blocking people who disagree with him and for doxxing a couple of those he didnt like. Due to these antics, many YouTube atheists, even those who share his general views, have denounced him.

The Poet: Mark Jarman, "Coyotes" "IndyWatch Feed National"

"Is this world truly fallen? They say no.
For there's the new moon, there's the Milky Way,
There's the rattler with a wren's egg in its mouth,
And there's the panting rabbit they will eat.
They sing their wild hymn on the dark slope,
Reading the stars like notes of hilarious music.
Is this a fallen world? How could it be?

And yet we're crying over the stars again,
And over the uncertainty of death,
Which we suspect will divide us all forever.
I'm tired of those who broadcast their certainties,
Constantly on their cell phones to their redeemer.
Is this a fallen world? For them it is.
But there's that starlit burst of animal laughter.

The day has sent its fires scattering.
The night has risen from its burning bed.
Our tears are proof that love is meant for life
And for the living. And this chorus of praise,
Which the pet dogs of the neighborhood are answering
Nostalgically, invites our answer, too.
Is this a fallen world? How could it be?"

At a proper opportunityour people rushed in among them and seized two [2] men: the rest fled but the cries of the captives soon brought them back, with many others, to their rescue; and so desperate their struggles.
Only one [1] of them was secured, the other effected his escapestones. spears, firebrands[thrown]nor did they retreatuntil many musquets were fired over them.
The kidnapped warrior, aged about thirty (30), was wrestled into a dinghy; fastened by ropes to the thwarts of the boat and taken to Sydney.
Watkin Tench stood on shore reporting as the boat came to rest;his agitation was excessive, and the clamourous crowds who flocked around him did not contribute to lessen it.
Many unsuccessful attempts were made to learn his name; the governor therefore called him Manly, from the cove in which he was captured; this cove has received its name from the manly undaunted behaviour of a party of natives seen there, on our taking possession of the country.

Captain Arthur Phillip secured the capture of an Aboriginal person named Arabanoo to train as an interpreter.

brian houston and pat mesiti

The previous article on this site is my lead article about Pastor Pat Mesiti, a pastor of Hillsong Global Church and C3 Global Church. Both of these mega-churches are based in Sydney, Australia.

This previous article on Pat Mesiti is not a comic article or made up. It is true in every dot and tittle. This is the very sad thing about Pat Mesiti, and its reflective of Hillsong Global Church and C3 Global Church, which have enormous global reach.

Most people, and even Christians outside Australia, probably wont have heard of C3 Global Church based in Oxford Falls, Sydney. It has over 1000 churches in its network.

Most Christians in the West would have heard of Hillsong an End-Time Apostate Church and money-cult.

Brian Houston, global head pastor of Hillsong, and Phil Pringle, global head pastor of C3 Church, both Prosperity Gospel pastors and both very wealthy men, are New Zealanders by origin like me. Frank Houston, Brians father and the founder of Hillsong, was born in the same city as me Wanganui, in the lower North Island.

I know both of these men having been at Hillsong from near its inception in 1977 in Sydney, Australia. I knew Brian Houston before his father Frank made him a pastor in 1982.

The Homeless and the Poor Could Determine the Fate of the Country "IndyWatch Feed National"

Poverty is a weapon of mass destruction. A full 78% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck and yet the MSM and all those Black Friday promoters act as if life is blissful. There are 41 million Americans living below the poverty level. These pissed off Americans are going to have a lot to say about the future of this country whether or not Americas future will be filled with violence.

The following graphic captures the subgroups of homelessness:

There is one very telling statistic in the graphic displayed above this caption. Of all the homeless people andtheir subgroups listed, almost one in ten are veterans. What can veterans do that others on this list cannot? The answer is that they can fight and they certainly have the motivation to do so because, despite their brave service, their country has abandoned them. This is the stuff that revolutions are made of! The only remaining queation is whether, or not, this subgroup of extreme poverty will side with Trump or the Deep State when the time comes?

Indiana Bill Would Force Colts To Refund Fans Offended By Anthem Protests "IndyWatch Feed National"

A proposed law in Indiana would force the Indianapolis Colts to reimburse fans who request a refund over players kneeling during the national anthem, the Indianapolis Star reported on Thursday.

State Rep. Milo Smith (R) reportedly introduced the bill in Indianas legislature this week. It would require the Colts to offer refunds until the end of the first quarter during home games in which Colts players protest during the national anthem, the Star reported.

The bill would not require the Colts to refund tickets if members of the opposing team kneeled.

Dozens of NFL players have joined in protest during the national anthem before games meant to highlight police brutality and racism, a trend that began with former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

Im pretty patriotic, and it didnt sit right with me, Smith told the Star. To me, when they take a knee during the national anthem, its not respecting the national anthem or our country.

Our government isnt perfect, but its still the best country in the world, and I think we need to be respectful of it, he said. Smith says the law was inspired by his attendance at a Sept. 24 Colts game before which multiple Colts players kneeled during the anthem.

A request for comment from Smiths office was not immediately answered.

The Indiana ACLU released a statement condemning the bill, which it claims would amount to the government fining political speech by Colts players.

In effect by passing the law, government would be weighing in and fining political speech by the Indianapolis Colts, state ACLU director Jane Henegar said, according to the Star. It seems like the worst thing that could happen is government weighing in and trying to control in any direction the political speech of private actors.

The Sept. 24 game that inspired Smiths bill took place a week before Vice President Pence left a Colts game early after several members of the opposing San Francisco 49ers kneeled in protest.

I left todays Colts game because President Trump and I will not dignify any event that disrespects our soldiers, our Flag, or our National Anthem, Pence tweeted at the time.

US-led coalition acts secretively in Syria, Americans often absent from hotline Russian military "IndyWatch Feed National"

After senior US Air Force officers accused Russian jets of flying dangerously close in Syria, Russias Defense Ministry hit back. Moscow said US colleagues only reluctantly share plans for combat aircraft operations, and are acting secretively in Syria.

According to the US Air Force, Russian planes allegedly dont squawk (carry transponders that send a four-digit number allowing air-traffic controllers to identify them), and fail to timely answer guard calls, which are urgent summons on an emergency radio frequency.

Rarely, if ever, do they respond verbally, Brig. Gen. Charles Corcoran, commander of the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing, who flies combat missions in a stealth fighter, told the Wall Street Journal on Monday.

Rarely, if ever, do they move, he complained. We get out of the way. We dont know what they can see or not see, and we dont want them running into one of us, Gen. Corcoran added.

The Russian Defense Ministry noted in a statement on Wednesday that its hard to say if the allegations are Gen. Corcorans personal views or if they are just part of the farewell Russophobic performance by the outgoing US administration.

In any case, we have received no such claims either from Gen. Corcoran or Pentagon representatives during the regular videoconferences with the Russian Defense Ministry on compliance with the memorandum on the prevention of incidents in the Syrian sky, Defense Ministry spokesperson Gen. Igor Konashenkov stated on Wednesday.

Both the US Air Force and the US-led international coalition are trying to act secretively during operations in Syria, he added. Our American colleagues dont like to notify [us] about their plans to use combat aircraft, only occasionally indicating the time period and an approximate area. But not the specific types of aircraft and their affiliation.

This has allowed [the US] in the case of tragic mistakes of the coalition aircraft to avoid responsibility for the deaths of civilians and destruction of civilian objects. Suffice to recall the bombing of Kurdish villages in Hasadjek, which led to the deaths of civilians in October 2016.

Konashenkov said that over 20 civilians were also....

State negligent as regards fluoride "IndyWatch Feed National"

In the week before Christmas, I submitted, to the Irish and European authorities, a document on mandatory fluoridation of drinking water. This policy mandates by national legislation, that citizens, residents, and visitors to Ireland must consume fluoride in water and in associated beverages and foods. The document was co-signed by many academics, scientists, medical doctors, midwives, neurologists, psychologists, biochemists, molecular and cell biologists, toxicologists, nutritionists, and experts in paediatric medicine, as well as historians, poets, educationalists, some of Irelands leading food entrepreneurs and the cream of Irish songwriters, and musicians, as well as hundreds of citizens and parents.

The submission is seeking answers to specific questions, in the interests of transparency and accountability, that the Irish State, or its agencies, has refused to address. It presents new evidence, which demonstrates gross negligence and malpractice on how this policy is governed in Ireland. The day after this letter was submitted, Reuters reported that federal judge ruled that opponents of fluoridated drinking water in the US can proceed with a lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency, under the Toxic Substances Control Act.

The lawsuit, by Food & Water Watch, the Fluoride Action Network, and other groups, relates to scientific evidence that fluoride causes neurological damage in children. If the Irish authorities dont address the concerns expressed in our submission, we may be left with no option but to take similar action against politicians, and food-safety and public health officials, to ensure that they comply with their obligations, with respect to the welfare of citizens.

What the ####? "IndyWatch Feed National"

GERMANY, Undisclosed Location  Based on breaking news and events, it appears that CIA Headquarters beneath Lake Geneva is plotting a Russian-based attack and/or invasion of Germany, her islands in the Baltic Sea or North Sea and/or German Navy on December 29, 2017, Russian President Vladimir Putins 2,062nd day in office.

The impending Russian attack may conclude with a Russian nuclear detonations in Berlin, Bremen, Cologne, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and/or another Germany city, possibly resulting in the death of German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Leaderless, the CIA will likely install Martin Schulz as Chancellor of Germany under an emergency directive.

The impending Russian attack on Germany was drilled for during ZAPAD 2017, a 7-day joint strategic military exercise of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and Belarus (the Union State) that formally transpired on September 14-20, 2017.

Although Russia claims only 16,000 troops were involved in the exercise, NATO believes the total number of Russian troops, security personnel and civilian officials involved in the war-games ranged from 60,000 to 100,000, Russias largest war game since the Cold War.

In order to foreshadow the notion that the German military will soon be put on defense in the aftermath of a surprise Russian attack, The Local published a report back on February 15, 2017, entitled Is the German Military Capable of Defending Europe?.

The answer to the rhetorical question posed by the CIA-spawned propaganda report is an emphatic no which is why any Russian-based attack on Germany is ultimately designed to draw the United States into World War III with Russia.

In order to provide a timely motive for an unprovoked Russian-based attack on Germany, it was reported back on January 6, 2017, that the largest shipment of U.S. brigades since the fall of the Soviet Union arrived in Germany, namely...

Battery Story, 2017 "IndyWatch Feed National"

Tesla grid storage South AustraliaBattery technology is the thing. It seems to be a holy grail that environmentalists and technologists can agree on for helping us, humans who want a habitable planet for generations to come, mitigate climate change. And occasionally it is at the core of short term fixes. Once the dust has settled on 2017, and we are looking back on stories that were on the positive side of long term impact on the planet, this story will probably get more attention. For now it seems like a footnote at the end of the year to note that this Tesla scheme actually seemed to work:

Tesla Grid Storage Battery Reacts Insanely Fast To Coal Power Outage

Last spring, Elon Musk made a daring bet. He claimed he could build and install the worlds largest grid storage battery in South Australia within 100 days of the date a contract was signed or the system would be free. The contract was signed on September 29. Installation was completed by the third week of November. On December 2, the giant 129 MWh system was activated.

On December 14, the Loy Yang coal power plant one of the largest in Australia suddenly went offline. In an instant, the grid shed 560 MW of electricity, enough to power 170,000 homes. 600 miles away, the Hornsdale Power Reserve battery system, as the Tesla system is officially known, kicked in within 140 milliseconds. It reacted so quickly, in fact, that the local grid operator was unable to measure the response time accurately. 100 MW of power suddenly surged into the grid, buying valuable time for other power sources to come to the rescue. Utility customers were largely unaware that anything unusual had happened. Thats how good grid batteries work.

State energy minister Tom Koutsantonis told local radio station 5AA afterwards, Thats a record and the national operators were shocked at how quickly and efficiently the battery was able...

21:44 The Future That Has Already Happened "IndyWatch Feed National"

Today social networking sites make billions of dollars from users activity and content merely by showing ads to them, while users dont get anything in return. All the profit is taken by corporations and none of them tend to share it with their users.

But the world is changing fast. is a new generation social network based on an advanced principle of fairness and transparency between the social media and a user. It combines the benefits of the digital currency of the future, the Bitcoin, and blockchain technology and gives its users an opportunity to get rewarded for using the service.

Revolution in Visual Advertising

Aside from standard SNS features, every users account can be used as their ad space, therefore all their followers become each users own advertising audience.

Thus, by activating their advertising account in one click, a user allows their account to automatically post ads that will appear in all of their followers news feeds, and gets rewarded by for every ad display. The reward can be up to 50% of the ad cost per view. The important thing is that the social media does not reward users with its own money, but shares a part of the clients payment. And this truly revolutionary approach of Allabout.mes developers is unparalleled in the world. It is also important to mention that all the processes are fully automated and require no further action from the user.

The Business Model of the Future

Our business model is a total win-win.

Every user gets rewarded simply by spending time on the social media. So, it is not hard to imagine how many people would jump at the opportunity to effortlessly build a source of passive income. Our clients get a big, easily targeted and inherently ad-friendly audience, which is financially motivated in placing ads on their social media. Meanwhile, the social network provides itself with a constant inflow of new users and clients, thus increasing not only its profit, but also its popularity. The only question is: how is it technically possible to perform millions of transactions for millions of users at a time?

Blockchain, Bitcoin and ALL.ME (ME) Token

The answer to this question lies in innovative Blockchain technology. Implementing our business model without its opportunities would be nearly impossible. will also use Bitcoin for external payments, particularly for transactions between the social network and the client. Synchronised upswing

Employment growth and now interstate migration into Queensland have suddenly surged to their highest level since the financial crisis.

And not all of those new jobs are in Brisbane, which makes for pleasing reading.

Trend employment across the state rose to a thunderous 4.8 per cent over the year to November 2017, quite a stupendous increase after such a lean few years.

South-east Queensland soon plays host to the Commonwealth Games in 2018 which will deliver another timely boost.

Half as big again

Winding the clock back to just before the Sydney Olympics in round numbers there were 1.6 million employed persons in the Sunshine State, whereas today the total is about 50 per cent higher at around 2.4 million.

Of those extra 800,000 jobs, about 250,000 were in the main Brisbane sub-regions, with a further 200,000 or so in Ipswich, Logan-Beaudesert, and within the Moreton Bay regional council.

So that marks an expansion of just under 450,000 in total for 'Greater Brisbane'.

Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast have added about an extra 150,000 and 75,000 employed persons respectively over that time, with Toowoomba, Townsville, Mackay, and Cairns mopping up most of the remaining new jobs created.

How Strong is Your Intuition? It Might be the Highest Form of Intelligence "IndyWatch Feed National"

Understand that your intuition is the supercomputer operating every cell in your body.  When queried, it throws back a response.  It will be correct in terms of your query and that is not naturally rigorous and can become misleading.  Thus we use our brain to add structure to the query and to rigorously test the potential answer.  That is why it is not a sure thing.
In fact i learned a long time ago to master the art of defining the problem and to not worry much about the actual answer which can be counted on to present itself once you have done this even twenty years later.  Think about that for a moment.  By clearly defining a problem you allow the subconscious to order events and your life to solve the problem.
Thus i discovered how to build the Great Pyramid on time and on budget using only Bronze Age technology..

Dont Forget Me Kurdish Music from a Refugee Camp

Music is therapy and this is being recognised more and more these days. If you are stuck on a remote pacific island in hellish conditions the outlet provided by music can really help you to stay positive and fulfil some of your dreams amid dank oppression. A refugee who has been accomplishing much while indefinitely incarceration is Farhad Bandesh, a Kurd who escaped from Irans draconian Islamic regime only to have the lead boot of another crush him again.

His art, poetry and music has broken through the chain wire fences of Australias offshore detention regime and onto the walls and into the ears of Australians and anyone on the internet.

The environmental beauty surrounding the detention centre on Manus Island PNG was captured by Farhad as he recorded video to match with his vocals skillfully mastered into a powerful song by Brett Hamlyn.

The stark contrast between Manus environmental beauty and the pain and suffering inside the detention centres is heartbreaking.

This song is also about heartbreak.

Maybe the lover is Australia and the betrayal of a country which projects (or used to project)  an image of compassion but is now even more cold hearted than ever.

Welcome to The Weekend Quiz. The quiz tests whether you have been paying attention or not to the blogs I post. See how you go with the following questions. Your results are only known to you and no records are retained.

1. When the government matches its deficit with debt-issuance it changes the portfolio of wealth held in the non-government sector. The impact on purchasing power is equivalent to a leakage from the expenditure system (akin to taxation, saving or imports) which reduces the expansionary impact of the government deficit spending.

2. A public employment guarantee program, which required workers to attend a government centre each day to do jigsaw puzzles, would have no impact on national income.

3. If the government reduces its net spending by say $10 billion, the net financial assets destroyed by this fiscal withdrawal could be replaced by the central bank engaging in a $10 billion quantitative easing program.

This Flu Season Begins the Risk of a Pandemic 2018-2019 "IndyWatch Feed National"

A possible new pandemic is forming from a deadly strain of flu emerging from Australia and will be headed to the UK as the normal flow of travels would take it. Britain will perhaps be hit with the worst flu season in 50 years. Already, there are about 170,000 cases of flu reported in Australia which is more than double this season than usual.

The strain of flu is called H3N2, and the number of flu deaths in Australia over winter has not yet been released, but its thought to be the worst in many years. The last major flu epidemic was in the 1968 pandemic which began in Hong Kong killing more than a million people worldwide. Flu pandemics have been linked to fluctuations in climate, and new research connects the worlds four most recent pandemics to the cyclical cooling of the Pacific Ocean near the equator.

The cyclical research correlating everything reveals that the four flu outbreaks that swept the world in the past 100 years all followed periods of global cooling. These were in 1918, 1957, 1968 and 2009 (in this last instance, the H1N1 swine flu). When sea-surface temperatures sank abnormally low, this correlates to large flu pandemics. This cooling is associated with  La Nia, a phase in a larger climate pattern. La Nia is the cool counterpart to El Nio, which is marked by unusually warm temperatures in the equatorial Pacific. It is now clear that both events alter weather patterns around the globe.

While the typical Transverse Wave cycle event would be every 22.75 years, but the Longitudinal Wave structure simultaneously exists and the complexity of these wave points to this season as turning up the risk factors for a pandemic flu season in 2018 and 2019.

Composting Methods our Subscribers Prefer "IndyWatch Feed National"

In October, 2017, we asked subscribers to our newsletter, Cuttings, to answer a number of questions in a survey about composting. Although the number of respondents was not high, some interesting insights have been gained.

There were 149 respondents out of the 4800 who opened the newsletter. Even though this was not a high percentage, the results provide some interesting insights.

What type of composting system do you use?

Plastic bins with either open or closed bases were the most popular with about 17% of respondents using one of these and almost equal numbers using a combination of two or more different composting methods. Close behind in popularity were worm farms, then tumblers and open heaps. Bokashi bins or bucket or various types of open cages were least used

What was the cost of your composting system?

Almost 50% of respondents had spent $50 or less. Twenty seven percent had spent $51-$100 while much fewer spent higher sums a few of $300 or more.

How old is your composting system?

About 40% of respondents had been composting for 15 years, 34% for 510 years while 21 % had been composting for 10 years or more.

How easy is it to use your composting system?

For 70%, composting was very easy. Thirty six people provided comments on this question.  The most frequent observations were difficulty of turning tumblers, especially when full, the need to turn the compost to get fast breakdown and problems getting the ratios of green to brown components right.

What do you like most about your composting system?

Analysing 130 comments can be done through a wordle which yields a visual representation of the frequency with which words appear. Below is a wordle of the comments from which the words garden and compost have been removed because they overwhelmed the frequencies of the more interesting words.

From looking at comments and the wordle the overall conclusion is that people liked their system and found it a great way to use household and garden waste productively. Worms were popular in either a worm...

January In Your Patch "IndyWatch Feed National"

January is here! Wondering what to do in the garden? What vegetables and herbs should you plant? Its the start of the New Year and whether its time for a little rest and relaxation after a manic December, or you have a New Years resolution to spend some quality time with your garden; its  time to get out in your patch!  While we have been distracted with festive things, our patches have probably suffered a little and are in need of some serious loving right now. We have loads of  tips that will encourage your garden to flourish in the sunshine of Summer.

Warm Areas

Frost free or occasional light frosts (North from about Coffs Harbour and all the way across to the west to Geraldton)

Its pretty hot out there at the moment, and it definitely isnt the ideal time to be planting much. That said, you can try eggplant, zucchini, cucumber, capsicum, chillies and tomatoes; towards the end of the month.

  • Lettuce can be grown at the tail end of January, but consider popping them under a shade cloth tent.
  • Try Lemongrass if you havent already. Its woody nature helps prevent too much damage from the heat. Though wait until things cool down for any other herbs.
  • Still time to pop in some asparagus, just find a cooler spot in the patch.
  • Its not too late for watermelon, rockmelon and pineapple. Mangos can go in this time of year also.
  • Plants feel the need for a feed at this time of year. A seaweed tea or low environmental impact liquid fertiliser is perfect. Throughout the growing period diluted worm teas can be added to your garden every couple of weeks. This will help keep up the growth and fruiting capabilities of your plants. Apply to the soil early in the morning, in the concentrations mentioned on the packet.
  • Pretty up the patch with these flowering fancies: marigolds and sunflowers. Popping these in around your veggies will give some colour and interest to the patch, and act as beneficial insect attractors!
  • Consider a green manure crop to add some life and love to an overworked patch. At this time of year, try millet, lablab, or cow pea. This will improve your soil incredibly. For a bit of forward planning, youll find it well worth the effort!
  • Water smarter at this time of year. Water first thing in the morning and instead of quickie irrigation, a nice deep drink a couple of times a week is far more beneficial! Our fact sheet Irrigation In An Arid Nation has loads more info on smart water habits.
  • If you havent done already, look in...

Cost and Indulgence: Gloating over New Years Celebrations "IndyWatch Feed National"

The gloating over the forthcoming New Year celebrations has already commenced.  The first big city to feature on the roundups in each news segment as the year is ushered in tends to be Sydney, self-proclaimed global city in the antipodes, ever keen to rub its vulgar confidence into the noses of rival Melbourne.  And, for that matter, every other city since costly fireworks and light displays matter in the image table.

In the time zones where the new year festivities feature with clockwork regularity, Sydney is the first flash, the initiator of the world into another fairly meaningless measurement known as a year, humanitys effort to combat all swallowing eternity.  Organisers are interviewed, confident that the display will be the greatest ever.

The problem with such an absolutist catch-all clich as greatest ever is that it surely cannot happen each year.  This improbability hardly bothers those behind putting together the event, whose job prescription eschews originality.  The Sydney NYE committee, organisers and propagandists, find it entirely feasible that each event is surely greater than the other, and spread this gospel through media outlets without irony.  Such optimism, such naked advertising!

This, after all, is an occasion to forget the year that was, to forget woe, crimes against humanity and barrel scraping politicians, appalling decisions and missteps and perhaps most importantly, forget the scruples about the environment and the heating planet.

Everything touching on these celebrations resembles self-promotion at its most cringe worthy, so much so it deserves the tag of grotesque.  Even newspapers join the ride, casting aside editorial judgment in favour of back slapping confidence.  After a year that many were happy to leave behind, went the Sydney Morning Herald at the start of 2017, an estimated 1.5 million people packed the foreshore on Saturday for a double bill of fireworks climaxing with the world famous midnight pyrotechnics extravaganza.  These lines are already being copied to be re-run on the first day of 2018.

That account was more overawed than shocked at the sheer profligacy on display.  The Roman Emperors equated displays of extravagance with the worthiness of power.  The modern city bureaucrat equates firework displays with the desperate need to have a mention in every significant news outlet in the world.  There were seven tonnes of fireworks used at the Sydney Harbour bridge show the last time, including 12,000 shells, 25,000 shooting comets and some 100,000 or so individual pyrotechnic effects.  Millions had been expended ($7 million in one count).

These are not costs all are oblivious to. Even som...

O life! of the questions of these recurring; of the endless trains of the faithless- of cities filled with the foolish; what good amid these, O me, O life? Answer. That you are here - that life exists, and identity; that the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse." That the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. Tweeds mega new hospital site under scrutiny "IndyWatch Feed Northcoast"

By Luis Feliu

Selection for the site of the northern rivers biggest ever infrastructure project, the half-billion-dollar-plus Tweed Valley Hospital, is nearing, but its feared some of the richest agricultural soil in the shire is at risk if a land parcel on the Tweed Coast is chosen.

Twenty sites around the tweed are being considered for the NSW governments $534 million hospital project, with a decision on the preferred site due early in 2018.

But the shires former longest-serving mayor has raised concerns that the rich red volcanic soils on the Cudgen plateau behind Kingscliff, long sought-after by developers, could come under threat from the decision.

Max Boyd, who led Tweed council in a long campaign against the rezoning of the Cudgen agricultural area, says the state significant land must be preserved for future generations and not covered by buildings as similar land was in Queensland and elsewhere.

A Health Infrastructure spokesperson told Echonetdaily an announcement on the preferred site would be made following the end of the due diligence process on the sites and expected in early 2018.

Mr Boyd, AM, who was a project-team member which successfully recommended the land be protected by the governments classification of state significance, says its real possibility the Cudgen land could be selected despite the long opposition to development there.

The preferred land zone at Cudgen includes a large parcel linked to the family of former mayor Lynne Beck and her husband Don, a former MP for Murwillumbah and state government whip.

It has had many contentious proposals for rezoning to enable either schools, churches, shopping centres, a university campus and a major police headquarters there, but all have been ruled out due to flooding fears or other restrictions.

Mr Boyd said he had taken a keen personal interest in the issue and had sent a submission about his concerns in identifying the very important site to the group engaged by the government to carry out the due diligence.

He said he had thoroughly researched the sites significance and its accessibility to the Pacific Motorway to ensure that it provided the best possible access for this Hospital to service the extended population from the Queensland/NSW border right down i...

Byron aims for family-friendly New Years Eve "IndyWatch Feed Northcoast"

Cape Byron Lighthouse will oversee the First Sun event on January 1, which will feature meditation and yoga.

Byron is once again opting for a low-key family-friendly New Years Eve, with shire residents being urged to come into town to join in the fun.

Jonson Street will be closed to traffic and will be a pedestrian zone featuring live music, circus acts, cabaret, comedy and fabulous food.

Byron Shire Councils general manager Ken Gainger said there would be no events on the beachfront, which, like most parts of Byron Bay, will be an alcohol-free zone.

There also will be no fireworks to mark the New Year.

The focus is on fantastic family-friendly entertainment and great food so if you want to drink and party then Byron Bay is not the place for you on New Years Eve, Mr Gainger said.

We are hoping that people from around the Byron Shire will take the opportunity to come to Byron Bay to mark the end of 2017 and the start of 2018 and to celebrate the wonderful sense of community that our Shire is so famous for.

New Years Eve in Byron Bay is for anyone interested in a low-key approach to New Years Eve.

For those up early on the first day of 2018, there will be a First Sun event at 5.15am at the Cape Byron Lighthouse. The event will feature meditation and yoga.

"The Menacing Insect Omen" "IndyWatch Feed National"

"The Menacing Insect Omen"
by Robert Hunziker

"The world is experiencing a massive loss of insects. In turn, this threatens ecosystems with utter total collapse, and, by way of direct association, loss of human civilization. Zap, its over! Insectageddon!

Insect populations around the world are under massive attack and dropping like well like flies. The negative implications run very deep, indeed, especially for the foundation of ecosystems, and thus for the survival of all life. Ironically, insect death equivalence becomes human extermination as ecosystems crumble. Its already happening, and the evidence is compelling, in fact, overwhelming. What can be done has no ready answers, although begrudged solutions are out there, like stop pesticides and industrial-scale monoculture crop practices.

Scientists cite many factors in the fall-off of the worlds insect populations, but chief among them are the ubiquitous use of pesticides, the spread of monoculture crops such as corn and soybeans, urbanization, and habitat destruction. A significant drop in insect populations could have far-reaching consequences for the natural world and for humans. (Source: Christian Schwagerl, "W...

Comment: The area from Powell to Mascot to Halls, Tennessee covers well over a 20-mile radius. We doubt that the sound heard across that area would be caused by a local crew downing a tree with explosives.

Several members of the public also contacted police to say that they had almost collided with the Magna.

Police caught up to the vehicle at Drake where it was doing 120km/h, after earlier reaching speeds of 160km/h.

Police followed the Magna, which had no numberplates, into a driveway and blocked the exit.

NSW fatal crash driver had poor record "IndyWatch Feed National"

A driver involved in a horror Boxing Day crash that killed three people, including himself, and critically injured two sisters, reportedly had a poor driving record.

Australian actor Jessica Falkholt, 28, and her sister Annabelle, 21, were critically injured in the fiery crash that killed their parents and a 50-year-old man understood to be Craig Anthony Whitall.

The sisters were pulled from the burning wreckage by witnesses after the crash near Ulladulla on the NSW South Coast.

As both sisters remain in critical conditions in Liverpool and St George Hospitals, Mr Whitalls driving record has been brought into question.

Mr Whitall had been jailed for driving while disqualified and had only recently got his licence back when the crash occurred, according to News Corp.

The Daily Telegraph reports Mr Whitall was well known to police in his hometown of Ulladulla with a long criminal history of more than 60 offences, and was a known drug user.

A man understood to be Mr Whittals son, Shane Whittal, posted on Facebook just hours after the crash.

I love you with all my heart dad and will forever miss you you were my hero I dont give a f*** what anyone says you showed me a lot in my life more than youl (sic) ever know its such a tragedy to loose (sic) you I LOVE YOU DAD RIP, Shane posted.

Jessica Falkholt, a graduate from the National Institute of Dramatic Art who has played a role in Home and Away and other Australian television series, was travelling with her family when their vehicle was involved in a collision with a four-wheel drive.

Messages of love and support flooded in for the actress after the crash near Ulladulla on Boxing Day which killed their parents.

The Seven Network said the Home and Away family were sending their love and support to the actress and her sister.

Although her time on set was brief, once a part of the Home and Away family, always part of the family, a spokesman said.

Security beefed up for Sydney NYE crowds "IndyWatch Feed National"

Sydneys New Years Eve will be under the watchful eye of a massive police and security presence with more than one million revellers expected in the CBD.

Dozens of officers armed with Colt M4 semi-automatic rifles will be on guard to protect crowds during the massive celebrations.

Riot squad officers with the military-style semi-automatic rifles will be equipped to launch a tactical armed assault in response to a high-risk situation like a vehicle attack or mass stabbing.

Sydneys $7 million display will this year include a rainbow waterfall of fireworks cascading from the Harbour Bridge to celebrate the victory of same-sex marriage in Australia.

NSW authorities are warning of significant road closures on New Years Eve throughout Sydney, including the Harbour and Anzac bridges, and have urged the public to use trains and buses rather than cars during the evening.

More than 4500 extra public transport services will be running to and from the city as the city is swamped with revellers celebrating the end of 2017.

Meanwhile Better Regulation Minister Matt Kean has warned Sydneysiders to beware of New Years fizzers and to report parties and promoters that fail to deliver on ticketed events.

When youve been looking forward to an event all year, and hand over large sums of your heard-earned money, you rightly expect a fun night out, Mr Kean said in a statement.

However, in recent years weve instead seen some notorious events where parties have been cancelled at the last minute, or closed down because there were too many attendees.

Mr Kean said partygoers were protected by Australian Consumer Law and can demand refunds or compensation if events dont match advertising.

2017 ends with Trump residing in his enemies' heads "IndyWatch Feed National"

As 2017 comes to a close, tumbleweeds roll down the empty Lido Deck while the Republican base answers the question, "What if Conservative, Inc., gave a cruise and nobody came?" The Democrats fled Washington under cover of darkness, desperate to keep their slobbering socialist wing from forcing them to commit ritual suicide by closing down the government over Christmas because the GOP Congress (for now) won't hand a couple million illegal aliens citizenship. Robert Mueller's Keystone Kop Korps started off with "unquestioned integrity" and ended the year with totally questioned integrity. The mainstream media abandoned the principle of objectivity in favor of shrill advocacy, yet it is baffled that most Americans now consider its members like just another bunch of partisan hacks. In the White House, where everyone who was anyone told us Felonia Milhous von Pantsuit would reign, President Donald Trump finished the year by signing a tax reform bill that punished conservatives' enemies and rewarded their friends. The Democrats get to go tell their base of blue state coastal swells, "Uh, sorry about losing those state tax deductions cuz we were too busy resisting to actually negotiate and thereby get a seat at the table." Cue the Sad Trombone. Trump plays for keeps, unlike the squish-cons who play for media hugs and invitations to the kool kidz' parties. He was supposed to lose the primary, but he didn't. He was supposed to lose the general, but he didn't. He was supposed to fall victim to the covert schemes of leftist bureaucrats and the overt obstruction of The Resistance, but he didn't. Instead, Donald Trump has prospered as the most conservative president since Ronald Reagan. And it's breaking the souls of his enemies. Deliciously.

1809 - Major Foveaux assured Macquarie, despite the military coup of January 1808 and, his own highly irregular assumption of power in July 1808, both he and the New South Wales Corps remained loyal to King George III.
And thus ended Australias second period of military dictatorship.

1810 - D'Arcy Wentworth appointed Superintendent of Police in Sydney.

1827 - Captain Henry Smyth of the 39th Regiment of the British Army, Commandant of the British military outpost at Fort Wellington on the Cobourg Peninsula (NT but then part of NSW)  ordered a punitive mission against the local Iwaidja. A party of three armed convicts and three soldiers conducted an early morning raid on the native camp near to a beach on the Bowen's Straits. Many were wounded and at least five Aboriginals were killed including a child and her mother, who was bayoneted as she was fleeing to the beach. Smyth had previously utilised one of the three 18-pound carronades mounted at Fort Wellington against the Iwaidja on the 30th July. The reports of casualties from this cannon attack range from zero to thirty.

1835 - Mary Gilbert was, I imagine, sitting under the shade of a gum tree swatting at the damn flies thinking,
"Why, oh why did I listen to my husband's stupid idea to trot off to the ends of the...

12 Dozen Places To Educate Yourself Online For Free "IndyWatch Feed National"

By Gavin Nascimento, A New Kind of Human

Selfeducation is, I firmly believe, the only kind of education there is.
Isaac Asimov

I struggled throughout grade school, not because I found the work to be too difficult, but because I didnt take any interest in it.

To me, it was a waste of my time, because I was being forced to learn things that simply never appealed to me. I considered the bulk of what I was being force fed to be crap, and eventually I actually got kicked out of school.

This was followed by me struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction and poverty. I was lost and started to have suicidal thoughts because I wanted to end this nightmare that became my life.

So how did I change all of this? How did I go from having terrible social anxiety, to winning public speaking competitions? How did I go from poverty and living life without any purpose, to becoming financially independent and doing what I Love? How did I go from being an unhealthy alcoholic to being what most people today would probably consider a health and fitness freak? How did I go from struggling with depression to giving motivational speeches that uplift people?

The answer is self education. It literally saved my life.

Because what ultimately binds us and enslaves us is ignorance. What prevents us from changing our lives for the better is a lack of knowledge of how to do it.

With that said, I would like to share an excellent list of places where you can educate yourself online for free, which was originally comp...

Racist BuzzFeed Lists Things White People Need To Stop Ruining In 2018 "IndyWatch Feed National"

Is it any wonder BuzzFeed is financially imploding?

BuzzFeed has published a list of 37 things white people need to stop ruining in 2018, in yet another example of the lefts brazen anti-white racism.

The listicle claims that everything from macaroni and cheese to protests to the national anthem have been spoiled by the involvement of white people.

Below the headline, 37 Things White People Need To Stop Ruining In 2018, the first line of the piece reads, First of all, America.

Imagine if Fox News or Breitbart had published a giant list of things black people are ruining. There would be an uproar, whereas this will go virtually unnoticed.

To legitimise their racism, the left has created a form of mental gymnastics that allows them to convince themselves that promulgating racist stereotypes about white people is somehow acceptable.

Youve probably heard the argument a thousand times by now; Its impossible to be racist against white people because they hold institutional power.

This not only ignores the core unchanging definition of racism, it completely falls flat on its face when you account for the fact that the left is using its monopoly on the dominant cultural institutions (media, entertainment, Hollywood), to spew anti-white racism.

The left is using its institutional power to entrench the idea that racism is acceptable, so long as the target is white people.

To illustrate how brazenly racist the article was, when BuzzFeeds official account tweeted out the story, it was in direct violation of Twitters rules on hateful conduct.

The policy states, You may not promote.racist and sexist tropes, or other content that degrades someone. Asserting that people of a specific race are ruining everything is clearly promoting a racist trope.

But dont expect BuzzFeed to be slapped with a Twitter ban anytime soon, since the social media network is notorious for its double standards when it comes to protecting...

Dr. Colin Ross | MK ULTRA: Mind Control, Psychiatry, & The CIA - The Higherside Chats "IndyWatch Feed National"

Join The Higherside Chats podcast, as host, Greg Carlwood, talks MK ULTRA: Mind Control, Psychiatry, & The CIA with guest, Colin Ross.
As many of us who are familiar with the crimes of the deep state know, there are few projects that have managed to the earn the reputation synonymous with the litany of mind control experiments conducted by the CIA during the 60s.

Better known as MK ULTRA, these sadistic experiments have haunted government agencies for decades, while a slow drip of heavily redacted documents finds it's way into the public arena, bringing with it more question than answer.

Fortunately, today's guest, Dr.Ross is an internationally renowned clinician, researcher, author and lecturer in the field of dissociation and trauma-related disorders. Authoring 29 books and over 200 professional papers, Colin is the founder and President of the Colin A. Ross Institute for Psychological Trauma and he joins The Higherside to help shed some insight into the deep states mind control campaign.

3:00 Ross begins by discussing his background as an academic psychiatrist in Canada, his residency in Texas that became the gateway to his involvement in the study of Satanic cults, and the first- hand accounts from patients detailing their victimization through military intelligence testing programs. After an influx of patients reporting similar experiences, Colin began researching declassified documents in the public domain, and unearthing details about government black ops programs such as Project BluebirdProject Artichoke, MK Search and Project MKOFTEN.

Siberia, Antarctica warmer than New Hampshire "IndyWatch Feed National"

Mother Nature is giving New Hampshire more than just the cold shoulder to end 2017, she's giving us the back of her hand. Thanks to a blast of arctic air, we're bracing for temperatures about 20 degrees colder than normal averages over the next week. In Concord temperatures are expected to dip as low as -11. Of course this doesn't even factor in the wind chill, which we all know provides an extra slap in the face when we walk out the door each morning. But how does New Hampshire stack up against some of the coldest places on Earth? Should we really be complaining? The answer is yes. Here are eight surprising places (as of 3 p.m. Wednesday) that will be warmer than New Hampshire over the next week, according to

Guys, Dont Do That: Trump Snowflakes Edition. Also Golden Showers, Because It Makes Sense In Context. Trust Me. "IndyWatch Feed National"

So. Much has been made over the last couple weeks on certain blogs about the pity-the-Trump-voter-who-cant-get-a-blowjob articles that have been cropping up. I even intended, though never succeed) to write a post about the wonderful humanitarian work done by OK Cupid when they publicly posted a bit about users tendencies in 2017.

For those not in the know, OK Cupid gives users random questions, then matches them based on their answers to those questions. Some are created by OK Cupid and these cover most of the obvious (read: expected) questions. Some are created by users and these can be anything at all, frequently showing either insight or dadaist tendencies or even trolling. But OK Cupid also creates some questions themselves that are meant to be more topical and more creative. They report on users answers every year, possibly more often, but this year two of their Trump-inspired questions were featured prominently. The first was whether a user would be turned on by someone asking them to participate in pee play/golden showers, would not be turned on but could be convinced to participate in the right moment or with the right person, or could not be convinced to participate. The second was simply phrased, Trump? with 4 possible answers: Hell yes, Yes, No, and Hell No.

Those wanting to date a Trump supporter (Hell Yes at 4%) + those otherwise willing (Yes at 7%) totaled 11%.

Those excited by golden showers + those who could be convinced to participate totaled almost 1/4 according to the OK Cupid blog post (Other sources said the exact number was 23%).

Much laughter was had by many at these statistics. But I have no admonitions for guys or anyone else based on them. While PZ has written about how taking pee back into your body for health reasons is stupid and wrong (its excreted from your body for a reason, people), theres nothing so toxic about urine that squirting a pint on your skin or even in your mouth is going to do any significant harm. Doing it for health? Dont, because it has no positive effect on your health and may have some negative effects if taken internally, especially if done with large amounts or frequently over a long period of term. Doing it for sex play? Sure. You do you. Or me. Or whomever, so long as theyre consenting and you arent taking enough inside you to cause problems. Even then, its your body I guess. And the same goes for Trump voters as for pee: If you arent noticing negative effects and it turns you on and everyone involved is consenting, go ahead and date a Trump voter.

The real problem in the articles about the relative undesirability of Trump voters isnt that they might somehow accidentally co...

Western Pennsylvania Buried more than 5ft of Snow "IndyWatch Feed National"

QUESTION: Mr. Armstrong; Why the hl does not the world listen to you. I am in Erie, Pa. We have more than 60 inches of snow without drifts. The drift on my front door is more than 8 feet. I bought extra canned food for this winter based on your forecast. I told my wife better safe than sorry. Why are they not banging down your doors? You are the only one correct on the stock market as well as weather, politics, and so many other areas. Your computer should be awarded citizenship as that AI robot.

ANSWER: Well stay warm. I understand what you are saying. Nonetheless, they do not want to listen because they want to pretend they have the power to control everything. Our work proves they cannot and that is not exactly acceptable.

This storm began on Sunday and has dropped a grand total of about 63 inches of snow on Erie, according to National Weather Service Cleveland. This is a serious issue with over 5 feet of snow people have to be dug out of their homes. They are reporting that this has wiped out all records for some 60 years or more. They have even now called out the Pennsylvania National Guard troops placing them on State Active Duty in northwestern Pennsylvania.

Writing about what should be done to girls in the dark is incitement to sexual assault Shany Littman to Ben Caspit "IndyWatch Feed National"

Below is my translation of a 7-minute debate between Israeli writers about the case of 16-year-old Ahed Tamimi slapping an occupying soldier in Nabi Saleh on December 15. The debate took place on the Maariv-owned Radio 103 FM two days ago (Hebrew).

Ben Caspit, the journalist who suggested that in the case of the [Tamimi] girls, we should exact a price at some other opportunity, in the dark, without witnesses and cameras last week, is debating with Shany Littman, who wrote an article in response (Haaretz, Hebrew) titled Did Ben Caspits hand tremble when he wrote these lines.

The debate occurs on Caspits own turf Maariv, in more than one sense. The moderator, rightwing politician Arye Eldad, is squarely on Caspits side and repeatedly interjects against Littman, who is actually being grilled by the two for daring to suggest that Caspits words may have had sexual connotations. Caspit activates what is known as gaslighting, saying to her that she [and everyone who had the same connotation] is a sexual pervert herself, and that she has a dirty mind. When Littman says that I want that the state of Israel act in a fair and just manner, and that it doesnt attempt, as was hinted in this article, to hide its actions, Caspit answers Its a bit sick, what you are suggesting, I swear to you.

Both Caspit and Eldad are bewildered that Littman mentions the occupation. Eldad interjects: Where occupation? Whats the occupation? How did we get to the occupation? Caspit says that its not at all the subject, dont talk to me now about the occupation, Eldad says I dont understand how we got to the occupation, and Caspit concludes, Arye, theres no occupation.

Eldad ends the debate reaffirming: By the way theres no occupation, to which Caspit answers: Theres no occupation.

Caspit, the supposed center-leftist, furthermore refers in passing to the occupation as the so-called occupation, echoing US Ambassador David Friedman (a supporter of illegal settlements) who spoke of an alleged occupation four months ago, and who has more recently asked diplomats to stop using the word occupation, following an Israeli Hasbara attempt to erase the term from discourse and public awareness, as I reported last year. Caspit and Eldads line follows this trend, of blurring or eliminating the overall paradigm of military occupatio...

Explosive Las Vegas Shooting Film Reveals Motive & Deadly Police Cover Up "IndyWatch Feed National"

As survivors demand answers and Las Vegas law enforcement continue evading questions about the who, what, and why of the deadliest mass shooting in recent American history, an explosive new documentary has just revealed some [...]

How Ahed Tamimi was slapped first, and why no one is talking about it "IndyWatch Feed National"

The video of Ahed Tamimi slapping Israeli soldiers, which last week caused heated debate in Israeli society concerning the soldiers supposed lack of response, or restraint as it were, needs no lengthy introduction these days. The discussion was rather exclusively about the slap, and the humiliation of the Israeli soldiers, that is. Should they have reacted violently? Was their supposed restraint, good for the Jews or bad for the Jews? Was it good to be such a most moral army or was it counterproductive to Israels image and deterrence?

In this writing, I am going to talk about another slap that has hardly featured in any coverage of this case a hard slap that was given to Ahed Tamimi by the restrained soldier, just 5 seconds before her now-famous slap back to the soldier from Ahed. In a 3-minute video posted on Shehab Agency Facebook page, one can witness this slap from the soldier at 0:59. It comes after some rather relatively gentle pushing and demands from Ahed for the soldiers to go away the soldiers who are occupying her family lawn, that is, the force which had just shot her cousin Mohammed in the face and put him in coma. There is even another slap at Ahed from the soldier at 0:23, a quicker and less forceful one, which Ahed hardly reacts to at the point. But it is the forceful slap in 0:59 that causes Ahed to go livid, where she manages to slap the the soldier 5 seconds later.

That moment, at 1:04 of the video, has become the famous slap by Ahed to the soldier. Now, many might be wondering, why hasnt this slap, by the soldier to Ahed, featured more prominently? Why have we hardly noticed it? Why, and how, has it drowned in the mainstream narrative of the supposedly restrained soldiers?

The answer lies probably and mostly in Israeli propaganda, known as Hasbara, and in the way in which Israeli media has willingly picked up the story which was subsequently taken up with limited critical examination by international media. The new framing of the story had to focus exclusively upon Aheds response, and that response was to be stripped of all causes in order to be framed as a provocation which was solely construed in order to create bad PR for Israel.

I thus wish to provide an analytical background for how this omission has occurred, why it has occurred, as well as explain why the soldiers slap and its general omission from discussion, are about a grand societal pathology of denial. Let it be added, that Ahed was not just standing there when she was hit. She was attempting to get the soldiers to leave, she was being physical with them in putting her hands on them occasionally, pushing them lightly, slapping their arms all that happens but it doesnt get very aggressive....

Yellow Glasses Might Be a Cure for Insomnia "IndyWatch Feed National"

Yellow or Amber-tinted glasses may provide relief for insomnia

How do you unwind before bedtime? If your answer involves Facebook and Netflix, you are actively reducing your chance of a good nights sleep. And you are not alone: 90 percent of Americans use light-emitting electronic devices, such as smartphones and laptops, in the hour before bed, despite the fact that such behavior is associated with symptoms of insomnia. The obvious solution is to ditch the technology, but people rarely heed this advice.

Knowing that individuals with insomnia are also unlikely to change their ways, researchers from Columbia University Medical Center tested a method to reduce the adverse effects of evening ambient light exposure, while still allowing use of blue light-emitting devices. Their findings will be published in the January issue of Journal of Psychiatric Research.

Smartphones, tablets and other light-emitting devices are lit by LEDs, which have a peak wavelength in the blue portion of the spectrum. Blue light at night suppresses melatonin and increases alertness; the use of amber-tinted lenses that block blue light m...

Oceans More Wild West than Global Commons "IndyWatch Feed National"

This month has seen the Trump administration publish its National Security Doctrine, within which China and Russia are identified as US rivals and revisionist powers whose rise has opened a new era of global competition as well as collaboration between great power poles. Evidence of a changing balance of power between the United States and other countries can also be found in a report by the Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative of Washingtons Center for Strategic and International Studies, which revealed that in the South China Sea, Beijing has continued to defy international law by installing facilities such as high-frequency radar which can be used for military purposes on its man-made islands. Chinas maritime activities reveal an emerging power that is committed to rolling back American influence in the western Pacific, and this conflict is now undermining the strategic framework that has emerged to regulate and protect the postwar global maritime commons. In turn, the United States is working closely with Japan, Australia, and India as part of Japans Democratic Security Diamond (DSD). Collectively known as the Quad, the four countries have just emphasized their joint commitment to safeguarding the maritime commons stretching from the Indian Ocean to the western Pacific.

Documentary reveals potential motive in Vegas massacre, exposes police cover up "IndyWatch Feed National"

As conspiracy theories run rampant online and in the media about the who, what, and why of the deadliest mass shooting in recent American history, a documentary has just revealed some incredibly telling information. In the new film, police are exposed for covering up the details of the shooting-because the casino allegedly paid them to. Since the horrific massacre took place nearly three months ago, details and evidence presented by law enforcement have been scant at best. This is not a coincidence. One of the most telling details about the information in this case is the complete and literal blackout of any images or video that show Stephen Paddock in the Mandalay Bay casino. While there has been much speculation as to why no video has been released, the documentary now provides an answer-the casino is playing a massive game of CYA (cover your ass).

A Lovely Bit of Thinking "IndyWatch Feed National"

This is a piece I stumbled across a few years ago; its interesting, especially considering when it was written: 1949. The author was looking back at Europes successive troubles and accurately saw the disturbance as an effect of the economics of the industrial revolution. The analysis seems pretty simple to me: imperialism was waning and the vast changes in the European powers economies brought on by new industrial processes (in particular, weaponry) created a perfect storm of events that for a time discredited capitalism. The Russian revolution was through the process of turning into Stalins dictatorship discrediting communism in turn. Aristocracy, in the form of the family of elite pinheads who destroyed Europe, didnt look particularly good, either.

Innumerable voices have been asserting for some time now that human society is passing through a crisis, that its stability has been gravely shattered. It is characteristic of such a situation that individuals feel indifferent or even hostile toward the group, small or large, to which they belong. In order to illustrate my meaning, let me record here a personal experience. I recently discussed with an intelligent and well-disposed man the threat of another war, which in my opinion would seriously endanger the existence of mankind, and I remarked that only a supra-national organization would offer protection from that danger. Thereupon my visitor, very calmly and coolly, said to me: Why are you so deeply opposed to the disappearance of the human race?

I am sure that as little as a century ago no one would have so lightly made a statement of this kind. It is the statement of a man who has striven in vain to attain an equilibrium within himself and has more or less lost hope of succeeding. It is the expression of a painful solitude and isolation from which so many people are suffering in these days. What is the cause? Is there a way out?

It is easy to raise such questions, but difficult to answer them with any degree of assurance. I must try, however, as best I can, although I am very conscious of the fact that our feelings and strivings are often contradictory and obscure and that they cannot be expressed in easy and simple formulas.

Man is, at one and the same time, a solitary being and a social being. As a solitary being, he attempts to protect his own existence and that of those who are closest to him, to satisfy his personal desires, and to develop his innate abilities. As a social being, he seeks to gain the recognition and affection of his fellow human beings, to share in their pleasures, to comfort them in their sorrows, and t...

Police Shoot a Lot More People Than Previously Known "IndyWatch Feed Nsw"

That we do not know the exact number is already a huge problem and unacceptable.  However the real problem is that an ill trained officer with a gun is a poor answer to an untrained thug with a gun and the reports we do get speak poorly to police practice.

Worse we have swat teams that act like they are invading hostile territory in the face of no intelligence.   This is nonsense.

I think that we need to simply disarm all first contact police forces.  There is no point in them actually going into harms way and there is less point in citizens assuming armed force is at the door.  Yet the moment a threat is observed, they can back of and call for that underused swat team.

This also meant to change the overall dynamic which today insists we have half the population potentially running around packing a gun.
